Description | The Physics Committee has been considering Graham's paper on diffusion and are advised that owing to insufficient attention to the large change with temperature, the results hardly do more than illustrate the method, and so could not be regarded as more than a preliminary communication for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The mathematical part treats matters well know, though Graham appears to have made it all out for himself. The practical question is whether Graham could publish a much abbreviated account in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' or wait until he has something with regards to temperature to offer. Suggests the latter course is preferable. |
