If Jones wishes only to photograph the drawing of the cloud rising from Krakatoa, no objection will be raised by the Society, although Harrison is afraid he will have difficulty obtaining a good result. The original drawing is at the Society and could be photographed but this would require the special permission of Council. If Jones wishes to extend to the sunset drawings contained in the Krakatoa report, it would be necessary for them to apply to the artist, Mr W W Ascroft, who retains the copyright. |
