Description | Harrison sends thanks for Fox's letter of 21 March supplying the title of his short lecture for their Soirée on Friday 13 May. He suggests it may be better to have the Simplon Tunnel first, and so proposes that the programme be provisionally made out with Fox's lecture in the middle.
There should be no difficulty in invitations being issued for Fox's guests, and Harrison asks that he submit the names as soon as he can. At a recent Committee meeting they confirmed the provisional invitation which had been sent to Fox to help the Royal Society with this demonstration. |
