Awaiting[?] an opinion of the members of the Tropical Diseases Committee on the documents sent by the Colonial Office regarding African Coast Fever before taking action, especially regarding Dr Koch's preventative method, and it would be remiss on the part of the Royal Society to send Koch the adverse reports of his method from the Colonial Office. He may have received a copy of the criticism from the South African authorities. But before they take the serious step of informing the Colonial Office that Koch's method is a failure, he should be asked if he has any remarks, and this should be done before the Tropical Diseases Committee. |
