Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 21 December 1904 |
Description | Dr Christy of Sleeping Sickness notoriety has called today anxious to find out what has become of his paper. He expects to go abroad in the second week of January and would like to know if it needs to be condensed. Christy was told that it was with the Chairman of the Committee, who could not act until it had been considered by the Committee, who will not meet until after Christmas. At Geikie's request Colonel David Bruce brought before the Advisory Board at the Colonial Office the advisability of the Tropical Diseases Committee having an opportunity of visiting the London School of Tropical Medicine. The Board agreed. |
