| Description | Five copies of a letter from the Government of Bombay to the Government of India, 27 May 1905, enclosing the report on Poona observatory for 1904-1905, have been forwarded to the Royal Society for the information of the Observatories Committee. The covering letter from the India Office states that only five spare copies of the document have been received from India. Of these five copies one is enclosed herewith [not enclosed], and of the remainder, copies have been sent to Sir John Eliot, Sir Norman Lockyer and Professor [Herbert Hall] Turner, who have been requested to peruse and return the reports with any remarks. |
