Description | In reply to Bottomley's letter of the previous day, Harrison is afraid he can offer no explanation of the omission of the two reports Bottomely refers to from the final issue of the Report on Sleeping Sickness published by the Stationary Office. The Foreign Office have undertaken to get that report printed and it was not edited or carried through the press from the Society. Therefore neither he nor anyone else at the Society knows what happened to it in its later stages. The reports were certainly standing in the proof issue which the Colonial Office courteously sent to the Society for information. The report by Mr Austen with the map is in all the copies Harrison has looked into at the Royal Society. |
