Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor and Archibald Geikie, to [an unknown correspondent] |
Date | 11 October 1905 |
Description | The Officers of the Royal Society have heard with much regret of the resignation of Miss C Barnard and especially deplore the circumstances which have led to her retirement. For more than nine years Miss Bernard has devoted herself with much energy and capacity to the preparation of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' and the Officers wish to express their appreciation of the great value of her services, particularly in regard to the portion of the work recently under her superintendence. They hope she will soon be restored to health. |
