Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to the Director General, Army Medical Service |
Date | 18 October 1905 |
Description | Encloses an application from Lieutenant Tolloch, for an extension of his period of seconded service while engaged on the Sleeping Sickness Commission in Uganda. The Royal Society greatly appreciates the work done by Tillloch in this important investigation. The experience which he has now acquired in this particular research has been most valuable and its loss by his removal would be a serious injury to the progress of the enquiry. Expresses the Royal Society's hope that the Director General will extend Tulloch's service on the Commission for another year. |
