He explains the process of Professor [Charles Scott] Sherrington's appointment on the International Brain Committee, stating that members were suggested by Kg Sachsischen Gesellschaft, with that list submitted to members of the International Council and approved by the majority. No definite minute exists of the decision, with the postal vote results merely being reported to Council on 4 June 1903 by Sir Michael Foster. He encloses copies of the correspondence to clarify the matter. |
