Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Colonel David Bruce, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 10 July 1906 |
Description | In reply to Bruce's letter there will be no difficulty in sending 10 copies of the Mediterranean Fever Reports, Part IV, for the Principal Medical Officer, India, once obtained. Stock of this number being below 50 they will have to reprint, the type is still standing. Asks if this is likely to be a final demand on the number as it is an expensive way of getting copies for distribution to reprint after the edition is exhausted. These demands are an increase of the edition, fixed at 750 in consultation with Bruce. If a similar run is likely to be made on future numbers they had better print a larger run. At present it would cost hardly anything more to print 250 than to print 100, but while anxious to have enough to meet all probable demands, they do not want a superfluous of stock.
Asks if Bruce could transmit the enclosed to MacNaught for him to carry out the amplifications which Sir A Geikie has noted prior to publication [no enclosure]. |
