Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William White, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 4 June 1907 |
Description | Harrison responds to White's note of the previous day, explaining that though he will assist Dr Elgar in any way he can to see the Schlick models, but they are currently secured in cases and he is uncertain as to whether White believes he is justified in showing them without the gentleman who deposited them.
He also communicates the unanimous opinion of the Soiree Committee that, providing there is no objection, the floating model would be 'especially attractive to the ladies'. He asks if White has any objection to it being shown at the May Soiree. |
