Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to James Swinburne FRS |
Date | 30 January 1908 |
Description | With regard to the question of renewals in the electric lighting here [the Royal Society], submitted a short time ago, Harrison should be glad of Swinburne's opinion on this point. The first proposition for the bays of the Library was to fit wall plugs and have table lamps but has since been revised to have rise and fall lamps suspended from the ceiling. . The electrician has examined the points and reports these would be easy to fit at a cost of only £1. 5. in excess of the estimates for the wall plugs. Harrison should be glad to know if Swinburne approves of these modifications. |
