Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Admiral Field |
Date | 17 June 1908 |
Description | Field is aware that a mass of Magnetic Observations was received from Christchurch a short time ago. Geikie thinks it is highly desirable that the hourly readings should accompany those which were sent in by Commander Chetwynd from various other stations. They are wiling to take on this work on hand at Kew, but before starting Geikie would like to know if Field has any objections to this course. A volume on Physics is ready to be published, and is only waiting for [?] hourly value tables to complete the work. |
