Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor [John Bretland] Farmer, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 19 June 1908 |
Description | The Council sitting yesterday as a Committee of Papers, had under its consideration the paper by Professor Buller with the reports and other documents connected with it, and finally resolved to adhere to the finding of the Botany Committee. As the author has expressed his unwillingness to accept that decision, Geikie was instructed to inform him that he is now at liberty to withdraw the paper, as it has been read. Is sorry that this should be the final result of all these long discussions and correspondence. |
