Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to W Henwood Harvey, Christ's College, Cambridge |
Date | [July 1908] |
Description | His paper on the 'Causation of Arteriosclerosis' has been referred to a Committee of the Royal Society, and Geikie is requested to offer on their behalf the suggestion that the paper would appear more suitably in the Journal of Pathology and Bacteriology than in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The Committee are aware that a similar article has been published in the former Journal. If he wishes to withdraw it it would be open to him or Dr Frederick Walker Mott. If he presses on publication by the Royal Society, it is suggested that the 'Historical Review' and 'Current Theories' parts might be omitted, and that in the 'Introduction' a short reference should be made to Rickett's paper in the Journal of Pathology and Bacteriology. Four illustrations would also be enough. |
