Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary of the Royal Society |
Date | 15 September 1908 |
Description | The proof of Sir Michael Foster's obituary has been badly mislaid. It has been looked into and enquired after everywhere. It looks as if Dr Gaskell will have to correct again unless Geikie thinks it best to wait until Harrison's return. Sending him a clean proof, so he may see how it stands, as to type at printers. Asks him if he has seen a proof of the portrait.
Gives information of titles of Seneca books.
Has ordered 150 of the Sir John Evans obituary, separately printed, and the 25 copies of the four obituaries issued together in one wrapper. |
