I shall be much obliged if you will kindly send back to me, by return of post if possible, the Abstract of Mr Geoffrey Duffield's paper on the Effect of Pressure on Arc Spectra, which is now if your hands as referee, as the paper has been announced for reading on February 4th, and the Abstract is therefore required for setting up in type for meeting purposes.
As the Physics and Chemistry Sectional Committee will be meeting on Thursday, February 4th, it would also be a great convenience if you could send in your report on the full paper by that day for their consideration.' |
