Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir William Roberts, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 20 January 1891 |
Description | Dr [Michael] Foster has sent Rix Robert's letter for the next Council. The consent of Council is necessary but in this case should be a mere formality. Rix supposes Roberts' book would not be issued before the Council on 19 February. If not, there is no reason why Rix should not order the blocks for Roberts at once. The blocks themselves are never lent on any condition but the printers will take clichés of them at a very trifling expense. Rix wonders if he should put this in action to save time. |
