Description | The correspondent asks for the newest edition of Clifton & Grimaux's dictionary on approbation and the 'Archivio per l'antropologia e la Etnologia' ed Mantegazza from the beginning of the year. If the Messrs can obtain a complete set of the back parts of the latter for £10 or £12 the Royal Society will take them. They would also like, with continuation, the 'Bulletin de la Société française de minéralogie' at the price quoted in the Messrs memorandum. The Society are still waiting for the Messrs to provide Todhunter's 'A history of the mathematical theories of attraction and the figure of the earth', about which they wrote on 22 April 1890. |
