Description | In answer to the editor's note of 22 April no visitor is ever admitted to the Royal Society's meetings except upon the written order of a Fellow. Rix believes the editor of 'The Electrician' has the standing permission of the President to publish any paper read at the meetings provided the consent of the author is in each case obtained. It may be that the late editor obtained a proof-slip from the author of a paper and this has given the impression that he attended a meeting. Rix will give instructions for an invitation to the press-view of the Annual Soirée exhibits to the office of The Electrician. |
