Description | The Royal Society asked the Messrs man Pearson to have all the lights cleaned before the end of this week as on Monday they begin arrangements of the rooms for the Soirée. Pearson has not completed the task and Rix therefore asks the Messrs to send him tomorrow to complete them. Rix is loathe to complain since Pearson is a thoroughly respectable man and suits them in many respects but considering the number of hours he has nothing to do but read whilst the engine runs, Rix thinks he should pay more attention to keeping the lights clean. |
