Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Walter Gardiner, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 16 June 1890 |
Description | Rix can not make out Gardiner's telegram and thought he was facilitating matters by putting Gardiner in direct communication with the Society's electricians, Drake and Gorham. The Messrs man was at the Society this morning and says the Society's lamps are 16 candle power, equivalent to 60 volts per ampere. If that is not what Gardiner wanted to know Rix suggests he communicate with the Messrs himself at 2 Princes Mansions, Victoria Street. |
