| Description | In answer to the Messrs letter of 7 January [1890], at a recent meeting of the President and Council of the Royal Society it was resolved that leave be granted to Dr Sanger Brown to republish in America with Professor [Sharpey-]Schafer's ascent, their paper in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', volume CLXXIX on the functions of the occipital and temporal lobes of the monkey's brain. It will be necessary for the Messrs to obtain the consent of the joint author and Rix provides Schafer's address. |
