Description | With reference to the Messrs letter of 17 May, the Royal Society do not find that their publications are advertised up to date and he fears that it may be the Society's own fault in not regularly sending a list of their publications as issued. Rix encloses a proof wrapper of their last number of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' which was published on 20th. Rix thinks the best way forward is to have sent to the Messrs directly as issued each number of their publications so that the Messrs can advertise them promptly. The number can be kept for sale or return. The Messrs name is now printed on their publications as Continental agents. |
