Mr Headlam's letter to the National Physical Laboratory asking for the accounts of the Laboratory has been forwarded to me here.
The accounts were only yesterday presented to this Society from the Laboratory, and will be laid before the Council at its next meeting; but I have the honour to forward in advance in enclosed copy of the Report and Statement of Accounts for the year ending December 31, 1909, for presentation to the House of Commons.' |
