Description | 'Dear Sir, I am in receipt of your letter of the 25th June, and in reply have to inform you that no Paper can be received by the Royal Society unless it be communicated by a Fellow. Upon a Paper being received here, it may be accepted for consideration, and if so, it is read at an ordinary meeting of the Society to which the Author is invited. After reference to one of the Secretaries and in compliance with certain regulations, the paper may be marked for publication, but under no circumstances can any payment be made to an author for his work, and no paper payment be made to an author for his work, and no paper is accepted if it has been previously published elsewhere. I hope this information will be of service to you.' |
