Description | With reference to Newcombe's proposal of January 4 last and his letter of February 11 relating to the preparation of a new Catalogue of the serial publications in the Royal Society Library. Harrison is authorised to accept Newcombe and Mr Ellston's proposal along the general lines printed in Harrison's report of November 1908 and on the terms proposed by Newcombe, which Harrisons lists. These include that the work be carried out continuously by Mr Ellston and Newcombe, that the work should not exceed 12 months, that £250 will be paid by the Royal Society for the work and that for this sum Newcombe be prepared to compile the Catalohue on the lines suggested. |
