Description | Bradford has been directed to state the value of the services rendered by Captain F P Mackie in connection with the investigation into Sleeping Sickness in Uganda. Mackie was in Uganda on deputation from the Indian Government from November 1908 to November 1909, during which period he took part in the work of the Commission lately engaged there under the direction of Colonel Sir David Bruce of the Royal Army Medical Corps. It is the opinion of the Sleeping Sickness Committee that he has done invaluable work. |
