An order has now been given them to resume sending Proceedings, Series B. The back parts due shall be posted to you.
With reference to Proceedings, Series A, these are no longer sent for the reason that the exchange list of the Society being very extended, and the Society's publication funds restricted, it is felt that the gift of the biological series of Proceedings and [Philosophical] Transactions to the Naples Station meets its requirements. The same course is adopted in the case of other biological institutions.' |
