| Description | Harrison has been directed by the Chairman of the Sectional Committee to write to Petavel with regard to the paper by Robertson and Cook, 'The transition from the elastic to the plastic state in mild steel' which he communicated to the Royal Society. His committee is prepared to recommend the paper for publication in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', but before sending it to the printers Harrison has been directed to call their attention to some remarks which have been made on the paper, and to ask whether the authors would adopt the recommendations which they contain. |
