Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Harry Govier Seeley, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 27 January 1892 |
Description | Rix understands that Seeley called at the Royal Society in his absence, which he explains was due to an attack of vertigo following a recent bout of influenza.
He has made arrangements with Mr Wesley, who has agreed to execute the plates. Rix does not know if he has begun work, but as the formal order has been given, it would be acceptable for Seeley to hurry him. With regard to the cuts, he asks that Seeley communicate directly with Mr Collings, who has been given a general order to do whatever Seeley tells him, leaving it to Seeley to keep the total within the assigned limit. |
