TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Professor A P Laurie, Heriot Watt College, Edinburgh
Date4 June 1915
Description'In reply to your letter of yesterday Sir Arthur Church indexed and catalogued certain series in the Archives of the Royal Society.
He compiled and printed at his own expense in two volumes 'Some account of the Classified Papers" and "Letter and Papers of the period 1741-1806". He also wrote out and presented to the Society a very full MS index to both of these series; and also indexed the collection of "Sherard Letters" so far as my knowledge goes he was not engaged upon any work of this kind at the time of his death.'
