Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Oliver Joseph Lodge |
Date | 22 April 1892 |
Description | They are in some difficulty regarding Lodge's [Soirée] exhibit and would like to know if Lodge is to bring his own apparatus and if not whether he can say more precisely wha they will need to hire. The Society's own lantern will be in full use in the meeting-room. They can provide a dark room but wonder what sort of lantern to hire and what size of Wimhurst machine. Perhaps Lodge knows Mr Wimhurst and can write and borrow one. Rix also wonders what current Lodge will require, their voltage being 106. |
