TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Harrison & Sons
Date13 June 1892
DescriptionRix encloses Mr Heaviside's paper for yet another revision. Heaviside has sent the Society a long letter with numerous instructions and complaints which the Secretaries have decided to disregard with the exception of a few items which Rix records by quoting Heaviside's paper, mainly concerning the incorrect use of mathematical symbols. In the matter of dots [for these symbols] Rix supposes it will be impossible to do what Heavside requires without cutting types for the purpose, and if this is the case, types must be cut. Rix asks for a revision as early as possible.
