Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster |
Date | 27 September 1892 |
Description | Rix is a little puzzled what to do regarding the Medal claims of Professor Quincke. Professor Carey Foster writes that he does not wish to proceed with the proposal and declines to send Rix the full statement. Rix explains why it is incompetent of Carey Foster to withdraw at this stage. It seems to Rix the proper course is to let the proposal appear on the usual circular-pamphlet and then at the next Council to withdraw with the seconder's consent. Rix is not quite certain however and encloses the regulations and will be glad of Foster's instructions [no attachements]. |
