Title | Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society to [Godfrey Harold] Hardy, FRS |
Date | 22 February 1924 |
Description | Updates that the Council has discussed the situation mentioned in [Godfrey Harold] Hardy's letter dated 14 February and decided that the Royal Society will not take any initiative in the matter, with the suggestion that this should be placed in an official correspondence to Hardy. Asks if Hardy could instead make it clear that he initiated the matter, not the Royal Society and that if he, or any other body wishes to appeal to the Government, the Royal Society will not object. |
