Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] |
Date | 17 March 1893 |
Description | On 16 February Mr [Joseph Norman] Lockyer's paper was voted and a copy of the criticism of the referees sent to him. Rix has received no order to proceed with the paper and the manuscript is lying in the drawer untouched. Rix mentions this because he heard Professor Lockyer had given some oral reply to the criticisms and Rix thinks Lockyer may be under the impression that this is sufficient. |
