DescriptionHas been to the US and seen Low's mother [his father was 'very busy at his work]. Has meet with 'nearly all the political leaders' in the US and is happy that they recognise the independence of Austria. Describes the state of Austrian resistence - notes that the 'lower bourgoisie' is nearly all anti-Nazi, and that the greatest resistence comes from the church. Thinks that Austria will come out as the country who 'did morst for the Allied cause, and made the less propaganda for themselves'. Begins p807.
