Title | Paper, 'On the flow in electric circuits of measurable inductance and capacity; and on the dissipation of energy in such circuits' by Alfred William Porter |
Date | 4 May 1893 |
Description | Porter describes a circuit diagram [see PP/22/2/2] featuring a coil and a condenser, and method of experimentation which makes it 'thus possible to determine the charge of the condenser at any moment after the rupture of the battery branch'. He goes on to share the results of his experiments.
Annotations in pencil and ink. Includes four diagrams of experimental apparatus and results.
