Description | Plate III containing figures 5-15. Figure 5 shows the inner face of the right cerebral hemisphere and cross-sections of the posterior lobe from the brain of a Cebus apella [tufted capuchin]. Figures 6-7 show a side view and horizontal section of the brain of the Cercopithecus pygerythrus [vervet monkey]. Figures 8-10 show a side view, upper surface, and the inner face of the right hemisphere of the brain of the Hapale jacchus [common marmoset]. Figures 11-14 show the upper surface, base, side view, and inner face of the Lemur nigrifrons [mongoose lemur]. Figure 15 shows a horizontal section of the brain of the Galago [bush baby].
