Title | Joint referee's report by Charles Scott Sherrington and Frederick Walker Mott, on a paper 'Investigations into the segmental representation of movements in the lumbar region of the mammalian spinal cord. —Excitation of the spinal cord, and direct excitation of the spinal nerve roots' by W Page May |
Date | December 1896 |
Description | They both concur with regards to the character and value of the paper. They are unsure whether is fits the 'standard of excellence' demanded for Philosophical Transactions. If the standard has become high recently, then it would be difficult to recommend the paper. If the Committee decides to publish the paper they should delete few sections.
