Title | Letter from Richard Owen, on his paper 'Evidence of a large extinct monotreme (Echidna Ramsayi, Ow.) from the Wellington Breccia Cave, New South Wales' to the Secretary of the Royal Society. |
Date | 25 February 1884 |
Description | If the Council believe his paper is 'unneccesary' it should be returned to him. If not, he would like to meet a lithographer from the Museum of Natural History to discuss his findings. The curator of the Sydney Museum of Natural History believes the author's finding to be 'most reliable' and trusts his interpretation of the fossils.
