TitleLetter from [William Ringrose Gelston] Atkins to [Archibald Vivian] Hill, regarding a paper 'On the nature and permeability of Chitin, III - The nature and origin of the membranes surrounding the developing eggs of Homarus vulgaris' by [Charles Maurice] Yonge
Date3 April 1937
DescriptionPaper reference code: B.121

Hopes Hill is feeling better. Says [James] Gray revealed himself to be the referee. E J [Edgar Johnson Allen] had 'thought it could not possibly be' Gray. Will not tell E J [Allen]. Believes Gray's opinion on the importance of the paper to hold more weight than his own. Thinks the paper should be withdrawn, despite own views [see RR/W/5/62].
