TitleResponse to referees' comments by [Leonard] Bairstow on a paper 'On the stability of flow between parallel planes' by D Meksyn
Date13 November 1938
DescriptionPaper reference code: A.135

[For referees' comments, see RR/W/6/71 and RR/W/6/72].

Believes the analysis to be clear, but is prepared to make alterations. Argues that one criticism is 'of such a general character' that it could be applied the works of Lord [John William Strutt] Rayleigh, Tollman, and [Ludwig] Prandtl, Taylor and [Theodore von] Karman on the subject. Is keen for the paper to be published, and restates commitment to making the changes suggested by the referees.
