TitleAttendance sheets, menus and bills from meetings of the Royal Society Club
Date1781-1800
DescriptionLoose slips of attendees (including 'visitors', e.g. guests) at each weekly dated meeting, with menus and bills for dining. These appear to be the rough records which were then transcribed into the 'official' or fair copy meeting books [RSC/1]. The material is not consistently kept across this chronological range and there are some gaps of several months; generally, the lists of members dining does feature, sometimes with menus and (more often) tavern bills, but the information varies between files.
