Title | Letter from T R [Thomas Renton] Elliott, 8 Cheyne Walk, Chelsea, to [Gilbert Thomas] Morgan |
Creator | Elliott; Thomas Renton (1877-1961); British physician and physiologist |
Recipient | Morgan; Sir Gilbert Thomas (1870-1940); British chemist |
Date | 17 May 1933 |
Description | Morgan's letter was so sympathetic that he hopes to remain a member of the Royal Society Club. He is in good health but 'my legs maintain their mutinous state of discomfort'. He has not dined out this year and frequently dines in bed. His physician assures Elliott that he will become fit again. If the Club needs new members he will resign, otherwise he would welcome forgiveness. |
