DescriptionHe encloses postcards and two menu cards from last night's dinner of the Royal Society Club. Professor [Charles Vernon] Boys described a type of prism for producing two images of a star apparently travelling in two different directions, with a model tetrahedron. Professor [James Bryant] Conant talked about the Royal Society's connections with Harvard University, including correspondence with Robert Boyle. Alexander Scott referred to the analysis of red gold in very old Egyptian sequins. James Chadwick, the Bakerian Lecturer, dined with the Club.
