Creator | Hill; Sir Arthur William (1875-1941); British botanist |
Recipient | Tizard; Sir Henry Thomas (1885-1959); British physical chemist and science administrator |
Date | 6 July 1936 |
Description | He thanks Tizard for huis letter and discusses a possible joint dinner with the Royal Academy Dining Club. He thinks that two dinners per year woudl be too many, therefore the Royal Society Club should host one, and leave it to the Academy Club to invite the Society Club the year after. Of other clubs, the Royal Geographical would not welcome the Royal Society Club, he believes. H ecannot think of any other they should bother about. |
