DescriptionVictor M [Moritz] Goldschmidt has just passed through, going south from Aberdeen and he wonders if Goldschmidt should be invited to the Royal Society Club dinner on 15 July. Holland cannot attend, otherwise he would have invited Goldschmidt. The latter is now in London, having escaped through Sweden, and is doing work for the Ministry of Supply. 'Among his losses by German robbery was the manuscript of a great work on geochemistry'.
